In a joint press conference with Saud al- Faisal, David Miliband, British Foreign Secretary, said: The Iranian regime must halt Uranium enrichment according to UN demand.

He added: The Iranian regime must choose either cooperation with the international community and halt its Uranium enrichment, or intensification of sanctions. Our position regarding Iran’s insistence on continuation of Uranium enrichment is firm.

Miliband added: If the Iranian regime doesn’t cease Uranium enrichment, it would face harsher sanctions; we shall meet next week in London with other UN Security Council permanent members and Germany to evaluate this issue.
