The Russian Defense ministry announced today, Tuesday, April 12, that one of its military helicopters came down near the city of Homs in Syria killing both its pilots.
The Russian Defense ministry added that the bodies of the two pilots have been transferred to the Hamimim military airport in Syria. The defense ministry rejected the report that the helicopter was shot down with enemy’s fire.
