The US Treasury Department took to court and fined the Duthc Foker plane manufacturing company $21 million for violating Iran sanctions by selling plane parts and equipment to Tehran.
The US Treasury Dept. announced in this dossier against Foker there are 1,150 counts of violations of Iran and Sudan sanctions between 2005 and 2010, and therefore Foker reached an agreement of $21million on the penalty while the amount demanded was around $51 million.
Plane parts, delivered to Iran by Foker as said by the US Treasury Department, were either built by the US or manufactured on US soil and Foker must have sought permission from the US Treasury Dept. and other relevant institutions for permission.
