Four Sunni Kurdish political prisoners on death row surpassed their 36th day of hunger strike on Thursday, July 17th. Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molaei, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani are also fasting during the month of Ramadan and drinking only the prison’s warm water after breaking their fasts after sunset. The Iranian regime prison authorities promised to transfer them back to Gohardasht Prison at the end of this week but to this day there has been no such measure. They are on hunger strike protesting their cruel death sentences and transfer to Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran.
