Following the announcements of support of the “Declaration of 300,000 southern Iraqi Shiites” by the Sunni tribal Sheikhs, Iraqi NGOs and tribal councils from Diyala, Baghdad, Al-Anbar and Salahaddin, more supports were expressed by Iraqi National Council of Tribal Sheikhs from Baghdad, the Hibhib branch of National tribal Sheikhs Council, the Diyala, Mansuoria and Al-Adhim (the dam region) Branches of National Tribes Council of Iraq by issuing decorations to admire the patriotic move by the Southern Iraqi Shiites.

In their solidarity messages to the 300,000 signatories of the Iraqi Shiites’ declaration, they emphasized:
“We hail your brave step forward in fighting with the enemies of our nation and offer you our warm welcome in condemning the interferences by the Iranian regime in our internal affairs. We join you in rejecting despicable sectarianism and separatism of Iraq. We also call on the United Nations to send special envoy to southern Iraq for visiting our families there till every one could be aware of the human tragedy there.
Undoubtedly the children of our nationalist tribes in southern provinces have hindered all the conspiracies by the religious fascism ruling Tehran by their brave and decisive step. They have proved once again that all Iraqis from Shiites to Sunnis and from Turkmen to Christians and Kurds, as in the past, will stand side by side along with each other.”
