Shocking Confession: Iranian MP admits beheading 200 POWs

The state-run ‘Sharq’ daily posted an editorial on Saturday, March 5th citing a shocking confession made by Nader Ghazipour, a member of Iran’s parliament, about beheading Iraqi POWs during the Iran-Iraq War of the 1980s.
During the sham twin elections held late last month and in a speech delivered in the city of Urumieh, northwest Iran, Nader Ghazipour said, “The Majlis (parliament) is no place for foxes and … and women. The presence of women in the Majlis may lead to problems for them and cause embarrassments for us. In your lives you may not have cut off the heads of chickens and roosters, but I was forced to behead 200 POWs during the war.”
This daily referred to the fact that “after these events Ghazipour’s mobile phone was out of reach”, and wrote he later claimed in his personal webpage that “he isn’t afraid of anything” and even went on to accuse the individual who posted a video clip of this speech as a “spy”.
Despite such a history that Ghazipour has, and the fact that he would definitely be condemned as a war criminal in any credible court, and despite his animosity against women, the Iranian regime had approved his credentials for the parliamentary elections.
