Appeasing mullahs lead to catastrophe for Cyprus

Investigations on the explosion of the confiscated Iranian-made ammunition incident in Cyprus have been published, showing this government’s appeasement towards Tehran’s mullahs led to this disaster.
The explosion of the ammunition in warehouse in Cyprus led to the death of 13 people and serious damages. A committee handed over the results of its investigations to the Cyprus Public Prosecutor, announcing the report later at a press conference. The committee found Cyprus President Dimitris Christofias responsible for this catastrophe.
The delegation chief said based on the evidence he received he had no other option but to conclude that Christofias had serious responsibilities in this regard. To appease the mullahs’ regime and Syria, Christofias placed the ammunition in a warehouse on this island and did not allow UN weapons inspectors to check the status of the consignment, the delegation chief added.
The Iranian regime had sent this shipment of weapons for the Syrian regime which was later confiscated in the Cyprus ports.
