Iran: Sahar Beheshti, sister of slain political prisoner, marks one year after her father’s passing

Sattar Beheshti’s sister, Sahar wrote in her Facebook page as she was marking the ceremony a year after her father’s death:
“Thursday, February 18 was the first anniversary of my father’s passing, and we commemorated him with our dear supporters. We never came to understand how he sacrificed his early years to provide for us…
My father suffered a brain stroke 3 days after Sattar was murdered. He wasn’t with us for years, and all he said was Sattar and all he wanted was his Sattar.
At times I ask myself what am I looking for… it is all full of despair and rising against cruelty…”
Sattar Beheshti, an Iranian blogger was arrested by the Iranian cyber-police on October 30, 2012, and died after being tortured four days later on November 3, 2012.
His death triggered a wave of international condemnation and protests against the clerical regime.
