In serious protest to Maliki, Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said the prime minister is not authorized to establish the Dijla Operations Command.
Iraqiya Coalition leader Dr. Ayad Allawi will visit Kurdistan to meet with Talabani and Kurdistan Regional Government President Massud Barzani in order to discuss solutions for the current crisis.
One of the approaches mentioned is the establishment of an interim government to guide the country for the following two years up to the next general elections.
