The top diplomats of the United States and France slammed the Iranian regime at the UN Security Council session on Monday, expressing strong words against the mullahs’ nuclear drive in pursuit of atomic weapons and its repression against the Iranian people.
French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said conditions in Iran are worrisome, describing the regime’s nuclear drive as a military program and accusing the mullahs of intervening in neighbors’ affairs and suppressing its own people.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the mullahs’ regime viciously represses the Iranian people and provides support for Assad in its crackdown against the Syrian people.
