Badr Jamous, member of the SNC Governing Board warned Russia of its meddling in Syria.
“The Syrian revolutionaries fighting Assad mercenaries and militants dispatched by Iran will finalize the scene, and any soldier in Syria fighting against them will be considered a legitimate target,” he said.
“Russia, with its military intervention in Syria, has become an accomplice of the criminal Assad regime. The international community must act based on the Geneva-1 statement to force Assad and his inner circle to step aside from power, and form a transitional government with full competence. Assad has no place in the future of Syria,” Jamous added.
Syrian National Coalition Vice President Nagham Ghaderi in her meeting with the Afghan Ambassador to Turkey called on this government to stop Iran from hiring and dispatching Afghan mercenaries to the war in Syria.
“Many of the Afghan mercenaries that are dispatched by Iran to Syria are ordinary prisoners that have been condemned to long prison terms and Tehran forces them to go to Syria and take part in the killing of the Syrian people,” the SNC Vice President said.
