During questioning of a Basij militant accused of stabbing more than 10 women in Jahrom last week, the assailant confessed that he felt relief after stabbing and ripping apart his innocent victims.
Reports uploaded on the internet obtained from a number of victims who are in hospitals reveal that although the health condition of 4 of these victims are improving, but the psychological scars will remain for years to come. One women still in critical condition said, “I was going back home about 8 o’clock at night. At the moment I wanted to turn to an alley a motorcycle approached my car and sprayed me with something he had in his hand. My eyes started to burn and it made me cough.” She said that she thought the assailant was trying to steel the car, but she added “he kept repeating if you don’t shut up, I will stab you. When I saw the knife in his hand, I stopped crying. But despite the calm he stabbed me in my side and before leaving he again stabbed my hand and fled.”
The husband of one of the victims said: “it was last Tuesday that my wife was walking on the side of Motahhari Blvd. in Jahrom. A car approached and the driver took out his knife and as he passed my wife, he stabbed her and fled.” He added, the people who witnessed the crime and saw my wife bleeding severely, took her to hospital.
