Arab coalition warplanes launched major airstrikes against Houthi positions in Sana’a, Al Arabiya TV reported on Friday. Popular resistance forces and Yemen National Army troops are advancing towards Sana’a. They are attempting to prevent any damages being inflicted on civilians.
In Ma’rib Province, the main front towards Sana’a, coalition troops are saying they are awaiting final orders to cleanse all Houthis from this province, emphasizing this operation will bring an end to the Houthis occupation of Yemen.
Staff General Fah’d bin Turki Abdulaziz, commander of the Arab coalition forces, visited the frontlines in Ma’rib Province.
“Everything is advancing and it is expected that the Ma’rib front will be finalized very soon,” he said. “There is no barrier in the path of the Arab coalition, Yemen National Army and popular resistance forces.”
