Iraqi Umma (People’s) Party leader Methal al-Alousi expressed his hope that the Iraqi government would understand the importance of respecting international laws and human rights after EU foreign policy chief appointed a special envoy for Camp Ashraf. He expressed his content regarding the fact that the issue of Ashraf has received international attention because this may stop the Iranian regime’s demands or bring an end to its dangers.
Al-Alousi reiterated that the Iranian regime emphasizes on killing Ashraf residents. This issue brings the mullahs to a point where they resort to using whatever in their power to pressure and threaten Iraqi political figures to massacre these refugees.
