In an interview with Baghdad TV on the upcoming visit of Iranian regime President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Iraq, political analyst Sarmad Abdul-Karim said:
“To us all, the role of this man in the attempt to put an end to the People’s Mojahedin Organization at Camp Ashraf, whom have relocated to Camp Liberty, and turning this camp into a prison, is obvious. These orders have been issued in Iran, aiming to end and dissolve this organization. However, the truth is that the removal of the PMOI from the US terrorist list was a decisive blow to the clerical regime in Tehran. Ahmadinejad’s upcoming visit to Iraq is an attempt to impose more pressure and limitations and intensify the siege and mistreatment of these innocent people, who are in need of support.”
