Five German political dignitaries Professor Rita Süssmuth, former president of German Bundestag, Professor Horst Teltschik, Security and Foreign advisor of former Chancellor Helmut Kohl and former Interior Minister; Gerhart Baum, former German Federal Minister of the Interior; Jürgen Chrobog, former deputy Foreign Minister and former German ambassador to U.S., and Hermann-Josef Scharf, Member of Parliament and the head of the German Solidarity Committee for Free Iran, issued a joint declaration describing the PMOI delisting in the US as a huge accomplishment and historical achievement that we have been struggling for. We express our congratulations and appreciation to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance for intelligently leading this worldwide campaign, they added.
Politically, we expect a truthful opening of arms by Western democracies to pave the path for the recognition of this democratic resistance against Tehran’s religious dictatorship after this delisting. This will play a tremendous role in establishing democracy in Iran, the statement continued.
