On Friday, September 9th, friends of Iranian uprising martyr Mohammad Mokhtari intended to hold a ceremony on his birthday in his memory. They planned the ceremony to be held in Tehran’s famous Behesht Zahra’ Cemetery yet State Security Force units intervened and even beat a number of those gathered.
