The Iranian regime transferred Mansour Osanlou, the leader of Tehran’s Bus Drivers’ Union, from the addicts section of Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison (west of Tehran) to the IRGC’s solitary confinement.
The reason for the transfer of Mansour Osanlou to solitary confinement is a case formed against him two months ago on the bogus mullahs-made allegations of ‘having relations with dissidents of state’ in prison. This file is being followed in the 6th Judicial District of Karaj.
According to the International Federation of Transport Workers’ website (June 1st, 2010), in a press statement, this federation expressed its outrage regarding the violent abuse of Mansour Osanlou in Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison. David Cockroft, head of the International Federation of Transport Workers said plans exist to attack Mansour Osanlou far from the public eye. He called on international labor organizations to protest against the Iranian regime on this matter.
Meantime, the Indonesian Workers’ Union announced that a demonstration will be held outside the Iranian regime’s embassy in Jakarta, Indonesian capital, on June 8th, to protest the Iranian regime’s inhumane treatment of Mansour Osanlou and the recent execution of 5 political prisoners.
