Agence France Presse quoted Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir and wrote Bashar Assad must either step down or face a military option.
“Bashar Assad has no place in Syria’s future. There are two options to resolve the crisis in Syria. One option is to establish a transitional government and Assad stepping down, and the second option is the military option, in which again Assad will be set aside,” he said to reporters on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
