
INTV, 21 Sep 2013 – Arab media outlets have provided widespread coverage of Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi’s call for the release of the seven Ashrafi hostages.
Bahrain’s al-Ayam daily wrote: Maryam Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, has urgently called on the United Nations and United States for the release of seven Iranian dissidents arrested in Iraq.
Kuwait’s al-Seyassah daily wrote: Mrs. Rajavi in an international conference in the UN’s Geneva headquarters called on the US and UN, and especially UN rights chief Navi Pillay, to take urgent action for the immediate release of seven Ashraf hostages, including six women.
