Allawi calls on National Alliance to replace Maliki

Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi in an interview with the UAE al-Khalij daily warned against any efforts to dissolve the Iraqi Parliament in this period, emphasizing such a measure would be a crushing and deadly blow to the Iraqi people, Al Jazeera TV reported on February 14th.
In Allawi’s opinion, the real solution to the crisis is for the National Alliance to candidate someone to replace Maliki to lead the Council of Ministers, or the United Nations to bring unordinary assets to supervise over the upcoming Iraqi elections.
Allawi stressed demonstrations taking place in many Iraqi provinces are popular and spontaneous rallies where the Iraqi people staged after they felt they were under cruelty and being eliminated. Allawi once again emphasized the issue of a no-confidence vote against the government remains on the table, adding the national project that the Iraqiya slate is pursuing opposes any kind of breakups.
