At a news conference in Riyadh, Saudi Foreign Minister announce the move saying his country is breaking all diplomatic ties with the clerical regime in Iran.
The Saudi envoys to Tehran had evacuated their families prior to the move. Reuters cited Saudi Foreign Minister, Adel Al-Jubeir as saying that the Saudis will halt all diplomatic relations with the mullahs’ regime, fallowing the Iranian regime backed mobs attacking the Saudi Embassy in Tehran setting the building on fire.
