INTV, 6 Oct 2013 – Iran’s Teachers Organization issued an open letter to Mullah Rouhani protesting the deceitful claims he expressed on September 23rd in the United Nations. This letter reads in part asking Rouhani:
“Did you not speak of dialogue and engagement at the UN tribunal? At the beginning of the school year in Iran, did you not call on all to express their criticism and having the right to protest? What should the teachers do if they intend to hold a meeting to mark World Teachers Day and protest the neglect seen by education officials to this day? Will their meeting be considered a gathering and collusion? Will their gathering not be named propaganda against the system?”
