Al-Jazeera TV, 5November 2010- The European Parliament announced its readiness to help leaders of Iraq’s political fractions in reaching an agreement to speed up the formation of a nonsectarian government.
 In a released statement Struan Stevenson, President of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with Iraq, called on all Iraqi leaders to put more effort in the formation of a national unity government that represents all Iraqis. Stevenson also expressed the EU’s concern over the intensification of the wave of violence and attacks in Iraq that are the result of consecutive defeats of Maliki and the Iranian regime.
