In an interview with Fox News, Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, military analyst, asserted on necessity of removing the PMOI from terrorist list and recognizing them, in order to confront the mullah’s regime.

He supported the terrorist designation of IRGC and said: “The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps is a military force which obtains enormous economical interest. It is quite important to proceed against these interests.

General McInerney added: “Besides the effective measures against the IRGC and its economical interests, we have to take very important diplomatic steps forward with recognizing the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and remove them from the terror list.”
