The Aria-Arvand Company part of the government run Offshore Installation Contractors in the city of Khorram-Shahr has laid off 86 of its workers during past 3 day revoking their permit to work.
It is widely reported that in the mullahs’ rule in Iran, government linked company officials dismiss workers couple of months prior to the Iranian New Year so they can plunder their New Year tokens and benefits. But after the New Year these discharged employees would be hired back, but under new contracts and lower wages.
