
Orient Net, July 2, 2017– Assad attacked on Saturday (July 1) Ein Tarma front in Damascus’ Eastern Ghouta with chlorine, leaving tens injured
Orient News correspondent Hadi al-Munajed said about 35 fighters from the opposition’s al-Rahman Brigade saw exhibited physical wounds.
“All of them had breathing and lung problems, spanning mild, moderate and severe symptoms, while coughing and having bloodshot eyes.”
“They smelled of chlorine and the workers who rescued them said the site of the attack also smelled strongly of chlorine.”
Similar chlorine attacks were reported on July 1, 2017Damascus eastern countryside’s Zamalka today, where the attacked civilians saw the same symptoms, according to Orient News correspondent.
The chemical attack on opposition fighters in Ein Tarmeh came after the heavy losses inflicted on Assad terrorists and their allied Iran-backed Shia militias who are trying to occupy Damascus’ Jobar and its neighboring areas.
On the 28 of June, the French President Emmanuel Macron and the US President Donald Trump vowed ‘joint response’ if Assad launches new chemical attack on Syrians.
