INTV, 5 Oct 2013 – The state-run Shargh daily revealed Ahmadinejad’s cabinet in its 8 years in office printed and injected into the market around 500 trillion rials (equal to around $ 20.4 billion) all without any bankrolls. This issue has led to increasing liquidity and inflation inside the country.
According to this source liquidity has increased from 700 trillion rials (around $28.6) in 2005 to 4,700 trillion rials in 2013 (around a whopping $192.2 billion).
