Iraq’s uprising provinces launch general strike protesting Maliki’s sectarinism

Al Sumariya TV, 10 Oct 2013 – The uprising provinces of Iraq on Thursday protested Maliki’s sectarianism and launched a general strike.
The two provinces of al-Anbar and Salahaddin closed all their schools, government offices and gas stations, with the exception of hospitals, electricity department branches and bazaars.
Additionally, tribal sheikhs in Neinawa Province condemned Maliki’s repressive measures. People in these uprising provinces also staged massive anti-Maliki demonstrations.
