In an interview with INTV, Mario Stasi, former chairman of Paris Bar Association, asked the French government to remove the PMOI from the EU terrorist list after the historic verdict of the British Court of Appeals.

Referring to the futile coup on 17 June 2003 against the PMOI in France, Mr. Stasi said: France that will chair the EU presidency should present a pattern for democratic temerity; we are the one who should realize it. This means that the principles should not be sacrificed for interests.

Mario Stasi added: The judicial decisions can not prevent pressures, but these decisions must prevent these pressures to be effectual. We, the French lawyers, like our British colleagues, try to remove PMOI from the terrorist list.
