All-out weakness, isolation faced mullahs in OIC conference: report

A state-run daily revealed the complete weakness and isolation the Iranian regime faced during the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, stating how the mullahs refused to give a negative vote on expelling Syria from the OIC. The Asr-e Iran daily added Ahmadinejad even refused to speak one word about Syria.
This daily, affiliated to the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence, wrote in a report entitled “The unsaid topics of Mecca’s conference”: In the early Thursday morning meeting of the Islamic country leaders in Mecca, no voting was held on the subject of suspending Syria’s membership from the OIC due to the agreement of all members, resulting in this issue being approved by general consensus… Due to the fact Iran was the only party against suspending Syria’s membership in the OIC, if a vote was held Iran would be cornered against all OIC members.  Therefore, Tehran refused to request a voting.”
This state-run daily added, “The significant issue is that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a speech in the opening day of the conference, beginning with the subject of Syria. However, he did not even say a word about Syria’s and Iran’s perspective!”
