Al-Arabiya TV reported on May 22 , 2009: Regarding the Iranian regime’s meddling in Lebanon’s parliamentary elections, Jamal al-Jarrah, the candidate of Lebanon’s Western Bekaa Valley, said:” The slate presented by the Lebanon’s Hizbullah in Bekaa region has been set under the supervision of the Syrian Intelligence office and is certainly supported by the Iranian regime; it is financed by the enormous amounts of money provided by the Iranian regime; the amount of money spent in the region proves this.”
