Hadi al-Ameri, Head of the 9th Badr Brigade and the current Minister of Transportation in Maliki’s cabinet admitted to his commitment to the velayat-e faqih and acknowledged himself as a follower of the supreme rule.

Hadi al-Ameri: I personally do not hide my relations with Iran. We have faith in the velayat-e faqih, yet logical circumstances in Iraq do not allow it… Currently, Seyyed Khamenei is acting as one of the Muslim Shiite’s clergy’s. We are committed to the religious clergy, and being Iranian or Iraqi doesn’t matter in clergy.
