In a statement, the Iraqi People’s Congress, headed by Dr. Adnan Dulaim described the continuance of shelling of the Kurdistan’s region by the mullahs’ regime and strongly condemned it.

This statement which was released on Sunday partly reads: The cannonade against the Iraq’s border region is in consistence with the black crimes of the Iranian regime against the Iraqi people. These actions are the continuance of the same militia and death squads’ crimes supported by the Iranian regime and also the continuance of the atrocities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) with regard to the Iraqi people.

The statement of the Iraqi People’s Congress added: We express our surprise about the Nouri Maliki’s government regarding this Iranian regime’s aggression and ask the United Nations and the international community to take immediate measures to halt the killings and crimes of this regime against Iraqi people.
