In Syria news the rebels were able to take control over two checkpoints of Assad regime forces in the city of Zobdani near Damascus, Orient TV reported. Amongst serious missile fire in this region, there have been intense battles between the two sides in many fronts in this city. These clashes allowed rebels also kill a number of Assad regime forces, take two tanks and armored personnel carriers for their own, and also destroy a tank.
