US Secretary of State John Kerry pounds the criminal Assad regime for the use of barrel bombs filled with metal shrapnel against the Syrian people. Bashar Assad has resorted to barbaric and cruel measures, including the widespread use of torture and starving civilians through the imposition of a siege. Kerry said there is no way that the Syrian people will once again elect a government that includes Bashar Assad.
