Iraqi revolution will continue its path: political analyst

An Iraqi political analyst believes the revolution against Maliki’s corrupt government will continue all the way to Baghdad.
Mazen al-Sameraei from Erbil in Iraq said in an interview with Al Jazeera TV on the recent developments of Iraq:
“The revolution might be late but God willing it will continue its path towards Baghdad and overthrow the corrupt group in Baghdad. This revolution should have taken place long ago. There are rumors of ISIS which are not correct. We say that this is a popular revolution, a pure Iraqi movement in which all armed groups and organizations in Iraq have united together to overthrow the corrupt regime in Baghdad.”
Al Jazeera: “What dangers will erupt if this war between Iraqi groups and the government is transferred to different Iraqi groups? What will its ramifications be?”
Mazen al-Sameraei: “The sectarian situation has only been created by the government. The tribes, who came first to liberate Neinawa, Diyala and Salahaddin, treated the citizens in a humanitarian and national way. From Neinawa and Salahaddin we have heard reports that they are announcing through loudspeakers that we are a united nation and a united country. There is no difference between Arabs, Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites. We are all one nation and we have to protect this country. We have come to protect this people. We have come to overthrow those who were brought to power by the occupiers. This regime has been founded on void foundations. This regime cannot reach stability.”
