Two Iran dealers appear before court in Canada

Two Canadian dealers have been charged with illegal export of US-made train equipment to Iran. These two individuals are directors of two companies who sell locomotive spare parts and train rails all over the globe.
These individuals violated Canadian import-export and customs laws with their deals with Iran.
They had sold US-made railway equipment directly to Iran. However, they would sell all it under the pretext of Canadian exports. This is in violation of this country’s import-export laws as it can be used as means to bypass the harsh sanctions imposed on Iran by the US.
