On Monday, Dec. 5 and during a Q&A session where a government official was speaking at the auditorium of Kerman University in Southern Iran, the university police attacked and removed a student moderator from the stage and replaced him with another government supporter.
This happened while Ali Motahhari, the Iranian Majles (parliament) speaker was invited to the school to give a speech on the occasion of National Student Day.

But the gathering students chanted anti-government slogans and protested what they called irrelevant nonsense questions by the new government appointed moderator and forced the meeting to end incomplete.
The students left the auditorium in the middle of the official’s speech as a sign of protest.
