Turkey freezes Houthi, Salah assets

Turkey took action on Friday, August 7th freezing assets belonging to ousted Yemini dictator Ali Abdullah Salah and a number of senior Houthi leaders, Anatolia news agency reported. These assets have been frozen based on a United Nations Security Council resolution.
Houthi militants and Ali Abdullah Salah staged a coup d’état according to a plan directed and carried out by Iran, in which they occupied Sana’a and overthrew the legitimate Yemeni government.
Turkey’s recent decision is a step in approving measures taken by the Saudi-led Arab coalition against the Iran-linked rebels.
