A gathering was held in the University of Khajeh Nasir on Dec. 8th to host the Basij elements in the university. As a means of showing force and bullying progressive students, they had rounded up a large number of Basij elements from across the city and brought cameras and film equipments to create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation. The head of the university Basij said in dismay: Mojahedin (MEK/PMOI) have penetrated in these universities, and we should not let the university to become a place for their activities”.
Students reacted be shouting anti-government slogans saying, “Students are ready to die, but not to surrender”, and disrupted the speech.
