According to Iraqi media, Khomeini’s inauspicious poster at Najaf international airport highway was destroyed by protesters.
Sahat al-Tahreer website wrote: unidentified individuals tore off a large poster of Khomeini posted at the international airport highway. One security source in Najaf province confirmed this report.
This poster was mounted during a visit to Najaf by vice president Eshagh Jahangiri, Rohanis’ deputy at the main highway, connecting the south part of the city to the north, passing by the airport.
