Flooded victims clashed with suppressive state agents in southeast Iran

Based on received news, a group of flood-inflicted people in Bampour districts (Southeastern Iran) held a protesting gathering in front of the Red Crescent building of Iranshahr and asked their situation to be looked into.

The State Security Force (SSF) suppressive agents attacked the people with tear gas and beat them. During this clash which was resisted by the people, some of them were arrested.

It is worth mentioning that recent rains in Sistan and Baluchestan province followed by flood has destroyed the deprived peoples’ homes in that region, and according to latest news from Bampour 10 people have lost their lives due to flood.
