Twenty two Palestinian women have joined the Presidential Special Guard unit, missioned to provide protection for senior female figures alongside their other daily duties, Al Arabiya TV reported.
Once again Palestinian women have been able to conquer a stage previously only for men.
After serving in government, judicial and police positions, this time after undergoing intense training they have been able to enter the Presidential Special Guards unit.

These women are not exempted from any of the harsh training. This is only half of the story and despite the fact each of the students have their own motivation and wishes, the other half of the story is the culture and training that they receive.
