The US Army announced in a statement that the special Forces arrested 7 key elements of the special groups affiliated to the Iranian regime in two separate operations in Maysan province‬, reported Al-Sharqia TV.

The US Army statement states that 5 of these persons were the personnel of the Interior Ministry who supported the criminal armed groups. The statement also pointed out that the Iraqi forces arrested two persons whose arrest warrants were already released on charges of connection with the Iranian regime and carrying out criminal operations inside Iraq.
