The city of Mariwan witnessed a major demonstration staged by locals against Omid Karimian, the current MP of this city and also running in Friday’s elections, reports indicated on Wednesday, February 25th.
The protesters chanted, “Liar, liar” and “Death to Omid Karimian”, not allowing him deliver his speech. The crowd rallied from Shabrang intersection to the city’s main intersection in downtown Mariwan.
