
According to reports, a high ranking Iranian regime military official has been killed while on a military mission in Iraq.
Brigadier Gen. Alireza Shamsipoor, a former commander of the Iranian regime forces in the 8-year Iran-Iraq war back in 1980s was killed during a mission in Kani-Monga heights in the Iraqi Panjvin district.
Brig. Gen. Shamsipoor was one of the commanders of the Ansar al-Hossein Corps of the Revolutionary Guards assigned to Hamadan province in northwestern Iran.
Iranian regime military and intelligence agents have been reported to have been deployed to Iraq since the 2003 US led coalition forces invading Iraq. The Iranian regime currently has thousands of paid mercenaries and agents in Iraq carrying the interests of the mullahs’ regime goals in Iraq.
