PMOI member was, killed under torture in prison by mullahs’ regime

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) released a statement on October 30 and announced the martyrdom of PMOI member, Abdul Reza Rajabi, under torture by the mullahs’ regime in Gohardasht prison and asked the UN Secretary General and UN High Commissioner of Human Rights (UNHCHR) to dispatch a investigation delegation about this atrocity.

Excerpts of PMOI statement on execution Abdul Reza Rajabi (from PMOI) under torture in Gohardasht prison by the mullahs’ regime:

On Tuesday October 28, the mullahs’ regime killed Abdul Reza Rajabi (from PMOI) under torture in Gohardasht prison.

In order to carry out their plot, on October 26 the regime, without any justification, took him to Evin prison’s isolation, and then transferred him to Gohardasht prison. The regime tried to prevent the news of transferring him from being leaked out, but in a contact with his family, he informed them of his sudden transfer to Gohardasht prison; the jailors disconnected his contact immediately when they learned about it.

Abdul Reza Rajabi was born in 1962 in Kermanshah. In 2001, he was arrested and severely injured by the regime’s agents. Later on, he was sentenced to death in regime’s court. His sentence was commuted to life imprisonment in 2006. During his years in prison, he went under mock execution time and again.
