The Amnesty International, in a statement, expressed its concern regarding a journalilst and activist of Azarbayejan cultural rights being under torture in Evin prison.

The statement says that Saeed Matinpour who is monitored by Iran’s ministry of Intelligence is jailed in ward 209 in Ewin prison and is put under pressure to submit to a TV “confession”.

Matinpour was arrested along with his wife in the city of Zanjan(nortwest of Iran) and was transferred to Evin prison.
