US Secretary of State John Kerry in a press conference with his New Zealand counterpart said the US knows there is no military solution alone for the crisis in Iraq. Based on the President’s request next week he will take his next steps in this diplomat effort next week and will be travelling to Europe and the Middle East to discuss the matter face-to-face with the US’ interlocutors.
US efforts will be successful when Iraqi leaders overcome their diplomatic divides and take forth a political solution to trace Iraq’s political future, not with insurgents or crises, he added. This needs diplomacy and also will; decision making and leadership by those who have Iraq’s future in their hands, and the US will be working on all these issues very in the next few days, Kerry continued.
